VIRAL ADVERTISEMENT
Viral - something that has been spread quickly via the use of media.
A great example of a viral advert is the well known cadburrys drumming gorilla advert. This advert spread like wild fire and it was all thanks to the use of media.
GUERRILLA ADVERTISEMENT
This type of advertisement is usually a live performance that uses the audience or public in there advert to make true reactions.
A great example of Guerrilla advertisement is the coca cola happiness advert, this example shows true reactions and shows how happy cokes product makes people.
If i was to try and advertise toilet role using classic advertisement methods i would make it simple with an image of the certain toilet role and then the words reading out, theres simply no comfort like this. If i was to advertise it using Viral methods i would certainly use images and hashtags below linking too a website with more information. I would also use youtube to display a video showing how happy a good quality toilet role makes people with hashtags below. Here are some examples of our hashtags, #wipemedown #puttingtheooinpoo #yourdumpisourproblem #wepaytaxes #wecanprintdonaldtrumpsfaceonourproduct #makehimbrown. Finally if i were to use guerrilla advertisement I would first proceed to hire 3 actors one with a bucket on with our product and one dressed as donald trump. The man with the bucket will fill it with the substance we remove from your assholes he would then throw this substance over a normal member of society and our planted donald trump. Then our product will rush to there aid cleaning them both up and saving the day#ifyoudontwipeiwonthaveajob.

YOU GOV
MISE-EN-SENSE AND MORE
ADVERTISING
Most adverts
don’t use their products as a sales point. Instead they would talk about how
good it will make your life. They also get something catchy that will stay in
your head, so whenever you see the product that image is in your head. For
example in the Tescos advert they6 usually focus more on price comparison
rather than the products than their trying to sell. They also use a catchy
phrase (every little helps). So when people see a tescos that phrase will
always be in your mind.
Other
adverts such as redbull appeal to the older audience their phrase is ‘redbull
gives you wings’. This is telling the public that it will give them wings or
make them feel more awake.
